In 2023, greenhouse gas emissions increased compared to 2022 due to office relocation. The primary sources of emissions were energy consumption during operations, particularly electricity and air-conditioning refrigerant leakage.
Key measures include:
- Procuring energy-efficient equipment certified with energy-saving labels (e.g., air conditioning and IT equipment).
- Regular maintenance and equipment upgrades to improve energy efficiency.
Water Conservation and Waste Reduction
In response to water scarcity and waste management challenges, the company has implemented the following initiatives and will continue to enhance resource management to promote sustainable development and reduce environmental impact:
- Promote Internal Water Conservation: Improve water resource utilization efficiency.
- Implement Waste Reduction Measures: These include waste sorting, paper recycling, and using eco-friendly tableware.
Additionally, the company is committed to creating a healthy and balanced work environment. In 2024, the company organized the "Healthy Strides" walking competition, actively encouraging employees to walk 6,799 steps daily to develop a regular exercise habit and foster a sense of belonging among participants.
The employee participation rate exceeded 40%, with a total of 5,836,696 steps accumulated during the event, equivalent to approximately 40,856 kilometers. This initiative also promoted the concept of a sustainable lifestyle by advocating for carbon reduction and energy conservation.
